Locality Planning Energy Holdings Limited (ASX: LPE) (“LPE”or“the Company”) has executed an agreement with Walker Corporation (“Walker”) to deliver embedded network energy services at SOL by Walker, a landmark residential and mixed-use development at the corner of First Avenue and South Sea Islander Way in the Maroochydore City Centre on the Sunshine Coast. The agreement delivers on LPE’s strategic priority to grow through partnerships. It adds a leading national developer to LPE’s partner base and extends the Company’s presence in high-density mixed-use development in South East Queensland. Earlier this year LPE relocated its head office to Walker’s 50 First Avenue tower, adjacent to the SOL site. Craig Chambers, LPE Chair, said: “SOL by Walker is a landmark project for the Maroochydore City Centre, and we are proud to partner with Walker Corporation in LPE’s home city. This agreement is our strategy in action. We grow through long-term partnerships with developers who value integrated, efficient energy services for their residents and tenants, and we look forward to serving the SOL community for many years to come.” SOL by Walker SOL by Walker comprises two towers within the Maroochydore City Centre Priority Development Area, with 248 residences, ground-floor retail and commercial tenancies, and shared resident amenities. Construction commenced in May 2025, with Walker expecting to complete Stage 1 in Q4 2027 and Stage 2 in Q1 2028. Under the agreement, LPE will fund, install and operate the development’s embedded electricity network, including smart metering for each residence and tenancy, instantaneous hot water systems, a rooftop solar system supplying the common property and electric vehicle charging in the car park. LPE will supply electricity to residents and tenants and provide metering, billing and customer service for a term of 15 years from completion. At completion the development is expected to add approximately 260 service points to LPE’s portfolio. This agreement is a strong model for growth in the Sunshine Coast region, combining investment in sustainable infrastructure with the expertise of a trusted national business.” Conditions and Phasing Connections and revenue under a Master Services Agreement that will build progressively as each tower is completed, service orders issued and residences and tenancies are settled and occupied. LPE cannot yet reliably estimate the timing of revenue from the agreement, which will depend on the pace of construction, settlements and tenancy commencements.
